We believe in the importance of our users having full knowledge of what data we collect from them and how we use it, also make them aware of their rights and obligations regarding the treatment of their information. For this purpose, we present our privacy policy (the “Policy”).

This Policy applies to personal data that are registered or deposited in any Database that makes them susceptible to treatment. BEU, as the person in charge of the processing personal data, will use this Policy to establish the bases on which the processing of personal data collected will be carried out, considering the development of its corporate purpose, assuring people that the information will be used and protected appropriately.

• Beu is highly committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal information.
• Beu is public and its content can be seen and searched by anyone in the world. We also provide you with non-public ways to communicate on Beu using In-app Messages.
• When you use the platform, we receive some of your personal information such as the type of device you are using and your IP address. You can choose to share additional information with us such as your email address, phone number, and public profile. We use this information for maintaining the security of your account, show content according to your profile and others.
• We give you control through your settings to limit the data we collect about you and how we use it, as well as to control account security, marketing preferences, applications that can access your account, among other uses.

We require certain information to provide you our services. For example, you must have an account to view upload or share content on Beu. We collect and use the following information when you choose to share it.

1.1. User data and basic account information

If you create an account with Beu, you must provide us with some personal information so that we can provide you with our services. At Beu this includes an account name (for example “Beu Style”), a username (for example @Beustyle), a password and an email address or phone number, country and language. Your account name and username are always public, but you can use your real name or a pseudonym. You can also create and manage multiple “profiles” or “roles” from a single account that you own at Beu, for example, to express different facets of your identity.

In addition to the above, we may use and store information about visitors. This is anonymized and aggregated in bulk. We remove any personal information from visitors as we are interested in the "how", not the "who".

1.2. Public information

Most of the activity on Beu is public, which includes your profile information, your time zone and language, the date your account was created, your content, and the version of Beu you are using. You are responsible for your content and the information you provide through our services. You should think carefully about what you make public, especially if it is sensitive information.

We use contact information, such as your email address or phone number, to authenticate and maintain the security of your account (and our services), as well as to prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.

We also use the information to activate certain account features (for example, for access verification or Beu by SMS) to personalize our services, including advertisements. If you provide us with your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Beu at that number as allowed by the laws of your country. Beu also uses your contact information to show you advertisements as allowed by the laws of your country and to help others find your account if your settings allow it. You can use your email and mobile phone notification settings to control the notifications you receive from Beu.

1.4. Payment information

In addition to the above information, if you have a payment plan, your credit card details will be requested (to be stored by Stripe, not by us) and the full name for billing details.

We receive certain information when you use our services or other websites or mobile applications that include our content. We use the following data to administer our services.

To administer our services, we monitor how you interact with the links on our platform and the links that you provide in Beu Link.

If you click on an external link or advertisement in our services, the advertiser or administrator of the corresponding website may know that you accessed from Beu, together with other information associated with the advertisement you clicked on (such as the characteristics of the audience to whom intended to arrive) may also collect other personal data about you, such as cookies or your IP address.

3.2. Account cancelations

We retain the Registration Data until you keep your account enabled and / or, for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. When you delete your account, your account name, username and public profile will no longer be visible on Beu.app and Beu Link.

3.3. Oppose the treatment and limit or withdraw consent

When you are logged into your Beu account, you can manage your privacy settings and other account features at any time. It may take a little time for the privacy settings to be fully reflected in all of our systems.

Beu uses the data we collect for various purposes, including the most common purposes listed below:
